AutoFEM Lite limitations

Some studies are not available for AutoFEM Analysis Lite as depicted below:

Available (enabled) and unavailable (disabled) studies

Limitation for all studies:

Only a single solid or surface body can be selected for a study.

There is a limited number of model entities for applying loads/restrictions.

 

Limitations of boundary conditions for Static, Buckling and Dynamic Analysis are as follows:

There are only two types of mechanical loads for mechanical study: force and pressure.

 

Available loads are enabled on menu

You can use only full restriction (immovable fixation).

Available restraints are enabled on menu

 

Limitations of Frequency Analysis are as follows:

You can find only four lower natural frequency.

Forces applied to the design are not included in the calculation.

You have no possibility solve not fixed (spatially free) system.

 

Limitations of Forced Harmonic Oscillation Analysis (Harmonic Response) are as follows:

You have two types of mechanical loads for any study (force and pressure).

You cannot use the Mechanical Oscillator as a source of oscillations.

 

Limitations of Thermal Analysis (steady state) are:

You can use only three  boundary conditions for thermal analysis: temperature, thermal power and convection.

 

Available thermal boundary conditions are enabled on menu

 

There are no any other limitations concerning the number of freedom degrees, reports, study controls, time limitation etc.

You have fully workable FEA instrument for your purposes.
