Treatment of Errors

Sometimes, errors of geometry retrieving may occur during import of 3D objects from AutoCAD to Preprocessor of AutoFEM Analysis. Reasons of such errors can be related to the complexity of the 3D model or errors of the 3D modelling. By way of illustration, if the model has two bodies, occupying the same volume (i.e. all its coordinates completely coincide), then, at correcting overlaps, the system will find the collision and paint one of these bodies with a colour in the list related to the selected geometry. Simultaneously, the button "Go to a "bad" body" will be available, using which one can successively scroll and select the existing failed objects. Also the user can enlarge any object selected on the list, pressing a button which is placed on the left of the button mentioned above. Approaching the object will work only if any 3D View is active (see also here)

The set of objects can not be created if the system detects the presence of at least one failed objects. The user may exclude the erroneous objects from the list of the set of objects for FEA or carefully study the failed geometry to find and eliminate the reasons of that error.
