Step 3. Assigning materials

To perform any calculations with the solid model of a part, you need to define the material, from which it is made. Besides the standard AutoCAD material library, a material from AutoFEM database can be used for calculations. Access to the Analysis material database from the current study is provided by the command "Material..." from the context menu on "Body" object or "Solids" folder of the studies tree, displayed in the studies window.

Let's assign the material «Steel/AISI 1020» from the AutoFEM materials database for the model under consideration.
